Description:
The R4 has the lowest profile of the R Series, not only putting you closer to the water, but also making it easier for trailering and storing. Still, the deep-V hull is long and lean for a commanding presence on the water and standout ride Cobalt is known for. With a thoughtfully crafted interior environment and painstaking attention to detail, the R4 elevates the experience of day-boating on the water with your family and friends to a new, luxurious level.

*Due to the tumultuous relationship between water and electronics in addition to normal use and wear, we cannot guarantee the operation of electronic features such as the radio and its utility ports and GPS navigation. Our staff does our best to keep these items in service, but we cannot guarantee their use with each rental.

Any cancellation made 14 days or more before the reservation start date will result in a full refund of your deposit, minus a $50 processing fee.

Changes can be made to your reservation without penalty if done 14 days or more before your reservation start date. Examples of reservation changes include: Adding or removing days to your reservation, changing boats, or changing accessories.

There are no rainchecks or rescheduling because of rain. Changes to accessories can be made for free at any time. Extending your reservation can be done for free at any time, based on availability.

For cancellations received less than 14 days before the reservation start date, the refund you receive is determined by whether the boat is re-rented for day(s) of your reservation period. You will be refunded for any days in which we are able to re-rent the boat.

We guarantee the boat, but not the weather.
To protect your reservation, we recommend purchasing Trip Protection.

If the boat is returned after 5pm, Lessee agrees to pay for OVERTIME at the rate of up to an additional day rental. (Unless otherwise allowed by manager.)

If you’re renting one of out boats the state of Virginia requires all operators to have a VA Boating Safety Certificate, or a NASBLA approved boaters license from another state (see below.) Don’t have one? We recommend taking a NASBLA approved course and test prior to your arrival. You can review Boating Education info from the state of Virginia click here. We can grant you a 14-day temporary license if you pass an online test at our location on or before the day of your reservation! This is an “official test” that smart people routinely fail, so we recommend you study the Virginia Boaters Guide before giving it a go. It only costs $20 each time to take it, that’s pass or fail.

We are unable to refund rental booking payments due to failed attempts.We will do our best to reschedule based on our availability if you fail the test.

Each rental boat leaves the dock with a full tank of fuel. Once the boat is returned and refueled, the renter is responsible for the amount of fuel consumed during the rental time.

All boats are equipped with radios & GPS. We try to keep them in service at all times, but we cannot guarantee they will be operational. This is because of the tumultuous relationship that water and electronics have.

Pets may result in additional charges if the boat needs excessive cleaning, or any damages caused by your furry friend (call or text us for further information).

You must be at least 21 years or older to be the primary renter or to operate the boat.
Open flames, grill, or cooking equipment of any type is prohibited on all rental boats.

24' Premium Bowrider Policies

Virginia requires all operators to have a Virginia Safe Boating Certificate or NASBLA (National Association of State Boating Law Administrators) approved boater's certificate from another state (see below). If you are renting one of our boats and need a safe boating certificate, you must participate in the training program offered by Goodhue Boat Company. We will provide the documentation you need to comply with Virginia's education requirements.

The State of Virginia will accept the following state agency and NASBLA-approved certificates.

A certificate issued by another State agency and NABLA approved.
A certificate issued by the US Power Squadron
A certificate issued by the US Coast Guard Auxiliary
A valid commercial license issued by the US Coast Guard
A valid commercial (boating) license issued by the State of Virginia

NASBLA-APPROVED BOATING SAFETY COURSE
